This Privacy Policy explains how ASMR Studio (the "Software"), operated by Antonio ("we", "us"), handles information when it connects to TikTok on the operator's behalf. ASMR Studio is a personal, single-operator desktop application. It is used only by its owner to publish the owner's own content to the owner's own accounts. It does not serve, collect data from, or process data about other end users.

Summary: The Software runs on your own computer. TikTok credentials (access and refresh tokens) are stored locally on that computer only. Nothing is sent to a server we operate, and no data is sold or shared with third parties.

1. Information we access

When you connect a TikTok account, the Software accesses only what is required to upload videos to that account:

OAuth tokens — an access token and refresh token issued by TikTok, plus a basic account identifier (open_id), used to authenticate upload requests on your behalf.
Content you choose to publish — the video file and its caption/title, which the Software transmits to TikTok only when you initiate an upload.

The Software does not collect analytics, browsing data, contacts, followers, messages, or any information about other TikTok users.

2. How information is stored

OAuth tokens are cached in local files on your own device.
No credentials or content are transmitted to, or stored on, any server operated by us.
The only external destination for your content is TikTok itself, and only for uploads you explicitly start.

3. How information is used

Accessed information is used for a single purpose: authenticating with TikTok and publishing the videos you choose to your own TikTok account. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any secondary purpose.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties. Your video content is sent only to TikTok to fulfil your upload request. Note that the Software may generate video content using third-party AI services; those services never receive your TikTok credentials or account data.

5. Third-party services

The Software relies on TikTok's APIs. Data you send to TikTok is governed by the TikTok Privacy Policy.

6. Data retention and your controls

Stored OAuth tokens remain on your device until you disconnect the account in the Software or delete the local token files.
You can revoke the Software's access at any time from your TikTok account settings under Security & permissions → Manage app permissions. Revoking access invalidates the stored tokens immediately.

7. Security

Because tokens are stored locally, their security depends on the security of your own device. We recommend using device-level protections (disk encryption, a locked user account) to safeguard them.

8. Children's privacy

The Software is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age required by TikTok's own terms.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
